Our look inside the Petersen Museum's beautiful renovations

The 14-month overhaul of the Petersen Automotive Museum is finally complete, and the result is breathtaking. The updated site doesn't actually open until Dec. 7, but ace photographer Drew Phillips went inside early to snap the spectacular gallery of shots you see above.
The Petersen sports a new exterior that covers the building with arching ribbons of stainless steel, and the bended metal subtly gets visitors ready for the complex curves of the gorgeous vehicles inside. Once through the doors, attendees can now enjoy 95,000 square feet of exhibit space through 25 galleries on three floors. more ...
